Equipping the Church to be a voice for peace in every community
Faith motivated, evidence led peacebuilding
We partner with churches and faith-based organisations to promote the tenets of forgiveness, justice, truth-telling and reconciliation by supporting them to plan, deliver and reflect on the impact and sustainability of their peacebuilding work.
Conflict Analysis
We support our faith partners to take a systems view in analysing the role religious institutions, actors and theologies play in driving conflict or catalysing peace.
Programme Design
We support our faith partners to draw on their distinctive strengths as well as their theologies of peace and reconciliation as we walk with them to take an evidence-led approach to their programme designs. We support them to think through their own assumptions about change as they consider their Christian lens and conception of spiritual transformation.
Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning
We support our faith partners to be committed to understanding the actual changes resulting from their peacebuilding and to use these learnings to improve their programmes to have a greater impact.
Sustainable Funding
We support our faith partners to source, write and secure funding through foundations and grant bodies to help sustain their vital peacebuilding work. We co-bid for institutional funding with our partners and provide the monitoring, evaluation and learning services to meet the requirements of the grant.

How do churches in Nigeria work with local communities to build relationships and sustain holistic development?
Seek Peace is working with CRUDAN on a five-year project to equip churches and theological institutions with skills to initiate local development and peacebuilding activities within their congregations, based on local needs. Seek Peace is supporting CRUDAN as the central hub to co-design and run this project as well as provide ongoing training and support for staff and volunteer teams across Nigeria. We are also helping them think through and collect the best data to improve their impact, and to display this clearly through dashboards and data visualisation.
We are passionate about the Church and believe that it's been given a mandate to act as a catalyst for peace and reconciliation in every community.
We support our partners to achieve this by providing consultancy support, targeted training and by releasing strategic funding for them to invest in what it will take for them to manage their work in a faith-motivated, evidence-led way.
We are a registered UK charity providing specialised services to other religious organisations working for peace.

Emergency funding for displaced families in Beirut, Lebanon
In 2024 Seek Peace was able to release over £10,000 in grant funding to support our partners, Al Shabiba Risala and their Beirut-based Peace Centre during the months of political unrest before the ceasefire was negotiated. This grant helped house 60 displaced people from Christian, Sunni Muslim and Shia Muslim backgrounds as well as support the the surrounding community of Bourj Hammoud with emergency medical care and food parcels. Moving beyond the crisis into 2025 Seek Peace will be supporting ASR as they re-design their projects to meet changing needs and address local drivers of conflict in ethnically and religiously divided Beirut.
